From Dec. 7 to 12, KEBUKE signature black tea joins hands with Farewell My Concubine’s official promoters to create a series of ticket giveaway promotions. Through Nuwara Eliya Black Tea, whose name is drawn from beauties the likes of Consort Yu, we present our respects to the finely-drawn and deep cultural meanings of this movie.
During the promotion period, if you post “Enjoying Nuwara Eliya Black Tea; making a friend with Farewell My Concubine”, friend us, and upload a photo including a cup of KEBUKE, you’ll receive a chance for two tickets to the anniversary showing of Farewell My Concubine. A total of ten winners will be drawn.
December will mark the 25th anniversary of the classic movie Farewell My Concubine premiering on screens in Taiwan. It returns to the screen in a digital remaster. The movie won the 46th Palme d'Or at Cannes, becoming the first and so far only Chinese-language film to win that honor. It also won the Golden Globe for Best Foreign Language Film. It is often considered one of the best Chinese-language films ever.
